AEB and CNPq launch notice for aerospace research

Public Call CNPq/AEB/MCTI/FNDCT No. 20/2022 - UNIESPAÇO Program was published, with contributions totaling R$ 15 million, to support research projects that aim to contribute significantly to scientific and technological development and innovation of the country, in the space area, as well as encouraging the creation of an environment favorable to innovation and entrepreneurship, meeting the priorities of the Brazilian Space Program (PEB).
The Unispace Program is undergoing a new restructuring with the partnership of AEB and the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). Through the proposal, UNIESPAÇO will expand its capacity to stimulate, guide and promote scientific research, technological development and the training of qualified human resources in the space area, as well as encourage the creation of an environment favorable to innovation and entrepreneurship within the scope of actions priorities of the Brazilian Space Program - PEB.
The project aims to promote the union of Universities and research institutes with the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB) and registrations are open until September 1st
The scope of submitted projects must adhere to one of the following lines of research:
Line 1 – Propulsion: Hybrid propulsion systems, Aspirated propulsion systems, Liquid propulsion systems, Electromagnetic systems, Solar sail propulsion systems
Line 2 - Space system control
Line 3 - Materials and processes for space technologies
Line 4 - Space debris
Line 5 - Satellite power system
Line 6 - Station systems and ground networks
Line 7 - On-board data systems
Line 8 - Physical and life sciences applied to space missions: instrumentation supporting life sciences applied to space missions, life science technology applied to space missions and physical science technologies applied to space missions.
